LOTCA is a series of tests evaluating generic cognitive abilities. Cognitive Laboratory Assessment of Loessenstein is a series of tests that assess generic cognitive abilities.
It is divided into four main areas:
orientation – knowledge which day, date, time is;
visual perception – recognizing objects and forms and understanding their purpose;
spatial perception, which is to know where their body is in space;
a think-ing organization that assesses general skills but focuses on the categorization and classification of sites;
a visual motor organization that refers to reconstructive skills.
LOTCA can help identify strengths and weaknesses in different areas, measure learning potential and recognize thinking strategies, and help identify and improve people’s awareness of cognitive difficulties.
